Gifts for Nauru

Fill a pallet to Nauru!

THIS IS EXCITING!

We have the opportunity to send an entire PALLET of goods (1 cubic metre!) to Nauru free of charge!! And it will probably get there almost as quick as AusPost airfreight

But now we need help – to fill the pallet!!

You can:
1) Donate goods in Brisbane/Gold Coast
2) Donate money and we’ll buy stuff to go in the parcel
3) Send us stuff to include in the parcel (I can organise a really cost-effective way to do this – about $12 for up to 20kg from anywhere in Australia!)

Check out – www.wecarenauru.org/get-involved/jan2016/

Your donations will go straight to the refugees and asylum seekers – including over 180 children – to help them survive the very difficult conditions both inside and outside the detention centre.

Let me know if you have any questions!!

Fiona McNeill
Fiona McNeill I would love to help but need some guarantees that it will get to where it’s being delivered, and disseminated to those who need it, before donating. Can we get those assurances somehow?

For e.g., what are the logistics? What boat, who is unloading, who is distributing? Are their restrictions on what can be imported into Nauru?

Jenny Geale Hi Shail! Not too late to donate smile emoticon At this stage best bet is probably to donate money (http://wecarenauru.org/get-involved/jan2016/) and we will buy goods to go towards the pallet. Alternatively we hope to be doing another pallet soon (ship goes every 45 days, to 2 months or so) so you could jump on board and contribute goods then!
