Karl Stefanovic speaks up

Peter Dutton has been chewed up and spat out by Australia’s Favourite breakfast TV host.

Karl Stefanovic called out the Immigration Minister’s divisive comments with his own personal story

Karl shares the stories of some ordinary, yet incredible people from non-English speaking backgrounds. People seeking a better life have helped build this community.

Melissa Vollebergh Well said. Peter Dutton is not a leader that shows compassion, humility, or an interest in community. Why is he still there? I just hope the people in his electorate think twice before voting.

Vicki Robertson I have a new found admiration for Karl. Dutton’s words were just a tactic to put fear into the community. I hope most people realise this and recognise the contributions that so many of our ” new ” Australians have given.

Tatiana Rhodes Kennett and Latham ( yes I know…..has been duds) were spouting this morning that what Dutton said was absolutely correct …..bit of a stretch because yes many do end up unemployed but in the long run they bring so many benefits to our country…..they added that the media in its reporting of the story is out of touch with the views of the voters…..mmm they may be the ones with their heads in the sand

Dora Jahnes What do expect from a politician like Dutton. The only Liberal that didnt stand for the apology to the stolen generation. A Liberal that thinks its a joke that islands are sinking into the oceans and more families will be displaced. And OUR PM and other Liberals agree with him. Wake up Australia. Vote these un-Australians out. Australia deserves better.

Beryl Jellyman good on you Karl, never truer words have been said. You and Waleed are by far my favourite presenters. never afraid to speak the truth. Proud to listen to you. One question i would have for Mr Dutton, is HOW many of these people he insulted, has he ever given the time of day to meet???

Donna McEachran Don’t usually take much notice of what Karl says…too often it is crase and unintelligent. HOWEVER, this is brilliant and heartfelt!! If Dutton won’t apologise for his comments,Turnbull needs to sack him!

Becca Whyte Good on you Karl. I am an immigrant, and am sick of the Aussie attitude that we are taking away jobs. If Australians were competent in those jobs in the first place, they would have nothing to worry about!
